Why learn Tai Chi?

Tai Chi is a so-called inner martial art. This means that the focus of the training is not on strength and effort, but on "inner" processes such as relaxing muscles, working efficiently with the joints and maintaining a body structure.

By concentrating on calmness, relaxation and tranquility, Tai Chi has become known as meditation in the West.

Tai Chi has a relaxing effect on the body and mind simultaneously.

Tai Chi is learned from many different motives. There are people who want to do something good for their health and want to strengthen their body in a gentle way. There are Tai Chi students who

have focused on meditation and want to use Tai Chi to achieve greater serenity and expanded consciousness.

A third group of people interested in Tai Chi deals with the martial arts aspect, which however plays only a subordinate role in our society. Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art,

originally conceived for the battlefield. The positive effects on health were only later recognised and systematised.

As a martial art Tai chi offers an effective and efficient system.
